Baciro Cande, the head coach of Guinea-Bissau, has named his 25-man squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations double-header against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
The squad, which was unveiled on Friday, features some of the biggest stars from the country’s domestic league, including Mamadi Camara from Sky Bet Championship club, Reading, and Esmiraldo Sa Silva from CD Feirense in Portugal.
The Djurtus will open camp for the qualifiers on Sunday, March 19, and travel to Abuja two days later, with the first leg of the series scheduled for the Moshood Abiola Stadium on September 24. The reverse fixture will take place three days later at the 24 de Setembro National Stadium.
Guinea-Bissau currently sits second in the group with four points, just two points behind the Super Eagles.
