New Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers looking to snatch Ndidi from Leicester City

Leicester City suffered a major setback last season when they were relegated from the Premier League. To make matters worse, some of their best players, including Wilfred Ndidi, could leave the club. Reports suggest that new Celtic coach Brendan Rodgers is interested in acquiring the Super Eagles midfielder from the Foxes.

Last season was a disaster for Leicester City as they finished 18th in the Premier League and were relegated to the Championship. They had three different managers during the campaign, and Ndidi had an average season due to injuries. He made 27 Premier League appearances, with 11 of them coming off the bench.

Rodgers, who just joined Celtic, is reportedly keen to bring Ndidi to the Scottish club. The Nigerian midfielder shone under Rodgers during their time together at Leicester City, and his valuation reached its highest point under the former Liverpool manager’s guidance.

However, a deal may not be easy to complete as Ndidi is currently valued at £32million, which may be too much for Celtic to pay. Nonetheless, Ndidi has only one year left on his contract with Leicester City, and the Foxes may be forced to sell if he does not extend his deal.

It remains to be seen whether Ndidi will leave Leicester City this summer, but one thing is for sure, he is a talented midfielder who would be a valuable asset for any team. If Rodgers manages to sign him for Celtic, it will be a major coup for the Scottish champions.
