In a major move, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are poised to secure the signing of Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae during this summer’s transfer window.
According to a Tweet by Sky Sports, a verbal agreement has been reached between the player and the club, and personal terms have also been agreed upon.
The South Korean international is expected to put pen to paper on a lucrative five-year contract with the reigning Bundesliga champions.
It is worth noting that Min-Jae was previously linked with a potential transfer to Premier League outfit Manchester United. However, this deal unfortunately fell through.
Min-Jae, who joined Napoli from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2022, played a crucial role in Napoli’s triumphant 2022/23 Scudetto-winning campaign.
Throughout the season, the talented defender netted two goals and provided two assists for the Partenopei.
Napoli secured the Scudetto last season with an impressive tally of 90 points from 38 games, showcasing their dominance in Italian football.
