Moldovan football club, FC Sheriff, has made an exciting new signing with the addition of Nigerian youth player, Peter Oluwaseun Ademo. Ademo, who last played for Lithuanian side DFK Dainava Atylus, has shown great potential on the field, impressing scouts from European clubs. FC Sheriff beat out other clubs to secure the signature of the talented midfielder, paving the way for him to play in the Moldova League in the coming season.
Ademo began his football career with Lagos-based amateur side Real Sapphire before moving to Latvian side BFC Daugavpils in the summer of 2021. After struggling to make an impact, he went on loan to Dainava where he quickly settled and displayed his talent by contributing 1 goal and two assists in 18 appearances for his club.
Known for his vision and excellent passing skills, Ademo has been given the chance to play for a club that regularly competes in European competitions, including the Champions League. FC Sheriff famously stunned Real Madrid with a 1-2 victory at the Bernabeu just two seasons ago.
Despite not yet representing Nigeria at any level in qualification or tournament, Ademo hopes to one day have the opportunity to represent his country on the international stage. FC Sheriff unveiled their new signing on their social media pages, showcasing their excitement for the upcoming season with Ademo on their team.
With his impressive performances in Lithuania, Ademo is sure to be a valuable addition to FC Sheriff’s midfield, and fans will be eagerly anticipating his debut in the Moldovan league.
