The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that it will be constituting boards for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), the Nigeria National League (NNL), the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) and the Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) in the coming month.
The NFF President, Amaju Pinnick made the announcement yesterday, expressing his delight at the progress that has been made in the formation of these boards. He said that the new boards will be able to drive the development of football in the country as well as ensure that the leagues are run professionally.
“We are very happy with the progress that has been made in setting up the boards for these four leagues. It is an important step in the development of football in Nigeria, and we look forward to the boards being constituted next month. We are confident that the new boards will be able to drive the growth of our football and ensure that the leagues are run in a professional and transparent manner.”
The NFF has also revealed that it is in the process of setting up a Super League in the country. The Super League is expected to be the highest level of football in the country, and will contain the top clubs from the NPFL, NNL, NWFL and NLO.
The NFF is hopeful that the formation of these boards will lead to the successful launch of the Super League in the near future. The NFF President also urged all stakeholders in the four leagues to work together to ensure the success of the Super League.

The NFF is confident that the formation of the boards and the launch of the Super League will help to drive the development of football in Nigeria and help to produce world-class players in the near future.
