Join Me At Real Madrid –Rudiger Tells Havertz

Antonio Rudiger, the Real Madrid defender and former Chelsea teammate of Kai Havertz, has urged the German forward to join him at the Santiago Bernabeu. Rudiger expressed his desire to play with Havertz again at international level and believes that the two could reunite at club level as well.

Havertz has been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, following the departure of Karim Benzema from Los Blancos. Chelsea, who signed Havertz in a deal worth £75million from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020, are reportedly open to listening to offers as they seek to reduce their squad ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s first season in charge of the club.

Rudiger’s comments come as no surprise, given the strong bond the two players share on and off the field. The defender has been a vocal supporter of Havertz in the past, and has often spoken highly of his former teammate’s talent and work ethic.

While Rudiger’s comments may not be enough to sway Havertz’s decision, they do add fuel to the speculation surrounding the German’s future. With Havertz’s current contract at Chelsea set to expire in 2024 and no indication yet that he wants to extend, it remains to be seen where he will end up next season.

For now, Chelsea fans will have to wait and see how the situation unfolds, while Real Madrid supporters will be hoping that Rudiger’s plea falls on receptive ears.
