Nigeria’s Cyriel Dessers, the football forward, has reportedly rejected a move to Scottish Premiership giants, Glasgow Rangers, who had identified him as a transfer target after the departure of their Colombian forward, Alfredo Morelos. According to Calciomercato, the striker is not interested in the move, preferring to stay in the Italian top-flight with Serie A club, Torino, who are showing a strong interest in securing his services. Dessers, who scored six goals in 26 league appearances for Cremonese, his previous club, is keen to leave following their relegation from Serie A last season. The 28-year-old, who only joined Cremonese from Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk, last summer, is hoping to move on to greener pastures in the Italian top-flight.
