Inter Milan President Steven Zhang has praised his team’s performance in the UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City. Despite losing 1-0 to the English side, Zhang said he was proud of his players, coach and staff for reaching the final and competing at the highest level possible.
In an interview with Sport mediaset, Zhang congratulated City for winning their first Champions League title and acknowledged that they had a good season. However, he also highlighted the positives of Inter’s season and the valuable experience gained from reaching the final.
Inter Milan have won the Champions League three times in their history, while Manchester City have only won it once. Inter have played in five Champions League finals, while City have been in two.
While the loss in the final will undoubtedly be disappointing for Inter Milan, their strong performance throughout the competition shows that they are a team to be reckoned with in Europe.
